Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Safeguarding Officer to work within one of our partner schools in Rotherham. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real impact by providing tailored support to students, fostering a nurturing environment, and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage safeguarding concerns in line with organisational policies and legal requirements.
  • Act as the main point of contact for safeguarding issues involving children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records of safeguarding incidents and actions taken.
  • Work closely with external agencies, including social services, schools, and healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver safeguarding guidance, support, and training to staff and volunteers.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment across the organisation.
