We are working with welcoming primary and secondary schools across Barnsley who are looking for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to support pupils with their learning and development.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll help create a positive and supportive classroom environment, working alongside teachers to help pupils reach their potential.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils individually and in small groups.
• Helping teachers with classroom activities and lessons.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional and academic development.
• Helping create a fun, safe and inclusive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• A friendly, patient and supportive approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping children learn and develop.
• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification desirable, but not essential.
