Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Pay: £95 – £110 per day

We are looking for enthusiastic and supportive Learning Mentors to work across secondary schools in Rotherham, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop both academically and personally.

The Role

As a Learning Mentor, you’ll provide guidance and support to pupils who may need additional help with their learning, behaviour or personal development.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one and small group mentoring.
• Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
• Supporting pupils with emotional, social and academic challenges.
• Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Working alongside teachers and pastoral staff to support pupil progress.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A patient, approachable and encouraging attitude.
• Confidence supporting pupils with challenging behaviours or additional needs.
• A genuine passion for helping young people succeed.

Relevant qualifications or mentoring experience are desirable but not essential.
