Job Overview

We are seeking committed, compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils in specialist school settings, including those with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, PMLD and complex learning needs. Roles are available on a day-to-day, short-term and long-term basis. You will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning, emotional wellbeing and development in a structured, supportive environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with complex special educational needs.
Support pupils with communication, sensory needs, emotional regulation and behaviour.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and multidisciplinary teams to implement EHCP targets.
Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs within specialist settings.
Promote a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment.
Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to reviews and reports where required.
Follow all safeguarding and specialist school procedures to ensure pupil safety and wellbeing.
