SEND Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

The Role
We’re recruiting a number of dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 and small group basis. You’ll work closely with the class teacher to help pupils access learning, build confidence, and thrive both socially and academically.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils with SEN and behavioural needs
Deliver targeted interventions and classroom support
Adapt learning materials and activities
Monitor progress and provide feedback
Promote positive behaviour and engagement
Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and independence
Requirements
Experience working with children with SEND
Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for inclusive education
Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
