We’re currently recruiting for a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant / Practitioner to join a supportive school setting in Lydney from June through to the end of the Summer term.

This is a part-time role, ideal for someone passionate about supporting younger children in a nurturing environment. You’ll be working with pupils who may have additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.

🧸 Responsibilities:

Supporting children 1:1 or in small groups
Assisting the class teacher with day-to-day activities
Creating a positive, inclusive Early Years learning environment
Supporting social, emotional, and developmental needs
Managing behaviour in a calm and supportive manner

✅ Requirements:

A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent, in line with DfE guidelines)
Experience in an Early Years or school setting
A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
