Job Description:
TeachMatch Recruitment is seeking passionate and adaptable Vocational Teachers for long term supply positions within one of our partner schools in Rotherham. We are looking for teachers and experienced vocational specialists across a range of subjects, including Hospitality, Childcare, Construction, PE/Sport and IT. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver engaging, high-quality vocational lessons, ensuring students develop both their practical skills and subject knowledge. Strong classroom management and the ability to quickly adapt to different school environments are essential.
Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging vocational lessons in line with the relevant curriculum and qualification requirements.
• Teach practical and theoretical elements of vocational subjects effectively.
• Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Support students in developing practical, employability and industry-related skills.
• Collaborate with other staff and contribute to a supportive school culture.
• Provide feedback on student progress as required.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, where applicable.
• Relevant qualifications and/or industry experience within your vocational subject.
• Strong knowledge of your specialist vocational subject area.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Previous teaching, training or relevant industry experience is essential.
