Teaching Assistant – Cheltenham –

Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £90 per day
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (with potential for long-term)
Start Date: November 2025

We are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school in the Cheltenham area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom, supporting students across various key stages.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
• Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need additional support
• Helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Managing behaviour in line with school policies
• Supporting children with additional needs (if required)

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A calm, patient and proactive approach
• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
