Pay: £90 – £105 per day

We are looking for caring, patient and resilient Behaviour Support Assistants to support pupils across Rotherham who may experience social, emotional, mental health and behavioural difficulties.
If you have experience working with children or young people and enjoy helping them develop positive behaviours, we’d love to hear from you!

The Role

You’ll play an important part in supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.
• Helping manage challenging behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Building positive and trusting relationships.
• Encouraging positive choices and engagement with learning.
• Working alongside teachers and pastoral staff.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people.
• SEMH, SEN or behaviour support experience desirable.
• Confidence managing challenging situations.
• A calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
