Job Overview

We are looking for Student Learning Mentors to work within our Secondary School partners who are responsible for providing tailored support to students.

Job Role

  • Student Support and Guidance: Provide tailored support to students facing barriers to learning, helping them manage personal, social, and academic challenges.
  • Behavioural Management: Implement strategies to improve student behaviour, providing one-on-one mentoring and group interventions to encourage positive change.
  • Monitoring Progress: Track and report on student’s academic and emotional development, working with teaching staff to ensure appropriate interventions are in place.
  • Building Relationships: Foster strong, supportive relationships with students, parents, and external agencies to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Safeguarding and Welfare: Ensure student’s safety and well-being by following safeguarding protocols and offering emotional support to address any personal or welfare concerns.
