Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective pre-planned lessons to cover PPA time.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
  • Work closely with class teachers and senior leaders to ensure consistency and progress.
  • Maintain strong classroom management and promote high expectations.
  • Provide brief feedback to class teachers following cover sessions.

Requirements:

  • Recent experience teaching in primary settings across a range of key stages.
  • Strong classroom management and adaptability.
  • Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for nurturing children’s learning in a creative and supportive way.
