Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher who is dedicated to delivering engaging, hands-on lessons that will inspire students to explore and appreciate the wonders of the natural world. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach [specify the subjects, e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics] across key stages, and work closely with a team of dedicated colleagues to support students’ academic achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Science lessons that are engaging, challenging, and differentiated.
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, experimentation, and critical thinking.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s curriculum development.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians to support students’ learning and well-being.
  • Contribute to extracurricular science activities and school events when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Previous experience teaching Science at [appropriate grade level or school stage].
  • Strong knowledge of the science curriculum and ability to teach across a range of disciplines (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about teaching and inspiring students in the field of science.
  • Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
