Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support educators in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with autism and special educational needs. This role is pivotal in assisting teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and providing individual support to students to enhance their educational experience.
Responsibilities

  • Assist the lead teacher in delivering lessons and educational activities tailored to the needs of students.
  • Provide one-on-one support to children, especially those with autism and special educational needs, ensuring they can fully participate in classroom activities.
  • Help create a positive and nurturing environment that encourages learning and development.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative educational atmosphere.
  • Support the development of individual education plans (IEPs) by monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers.
  • Engage in tutoring sessions as needed to reinforce learning objectives and assist students in achieving their academic goals.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to special education and mentoring.

Experience

  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special educational needs, is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with students, educators, and parents.
  • A background in education or tutoring is beneficial but not mandatory; a willingness to learn and adapt is crucial.
  • Experience in mentoring or supporting peers can be advantageous in fostering a supportive learning environment.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children. If you are enthusiastic about supporting diverse learners and contributing positively to their educational journey, we encourage you to apply.
