Teaching Assistant – Gloucester –

Location: Gloucester
Salary: £90 per day
Job Type: Temporary (with potential for long-term)
Start Date: September 2025

We are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school in the Gloucester area from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom, supporting students across various key stages.

Responsibilities:

Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities

Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need additional support

Helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment

Managing behaviour in line with school policies

Supporting children with additional needs (if required)

Requirements:

Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A calm, patient and proactive approach

A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
