The Role:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team at a school in Wigan. You will play a vital role in assisting the classroom teacher with day-to-day activities, providing tailored support to students, and ensuring an inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons.
• Assist individual students or small groups of students with their learning needs.
• Help with the preparation of resources and classroom setup.
• Support children’s personal development and well-being.
• Monitor and record student’s progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
• Promote an inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all learners.
• Assist with behaviour management and ensure the safety of students in line with school policies.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
• Previous experience working as a teaching assistant is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of child development and how to support learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A positive, caring, and patient attitude toward children.
• Commitment to promoting the well-being and academic development of students.
