Job Overview

We are looking for a experienced Vocational Tutors to work within our network of Integrated Resources in Rotherham. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to make a real impact by providing tailored tutoring to students, fostering a nurturing environment, and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally. We are looking for candidates with experience in construction, Hair and Beauty, Sport and Animal Care.

Job Role

• Delivering Vocational Teaching: Plan and teach vocational courses that meet the individual needs of learners, adapting materials and methods to support diverse learning styles and abilities.

• Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track learner’s progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting support as necessary to ensure continued development.

• Supporting Learners with Additional Needs: Identify and address the specific needs of learners with disabilities or additional support requirements, working closely with support staff to ensure inclusive learning.

• Collaboration and Work Placements: Build relationships with local employers to provide learners with work-related learning opportunities and support them in securing placements or apprenticeships.

• Safeguarding and Well being: Maintain a safe learning environment, ensuring adherence to safeguarding policies and offering pastoral support to help learners succeed both academically and personally.
